Meet Brianna Butler

Brianna Butler was born on November 12th in San Diego  California and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida where she discovered her love for the performing arts. As a child, she gravitated toward dance and continued to dance throughout her life. In high school, Brianna was the captain of her cheerleading team. She also led her community’s competitive cheerleading squad as they competed across the states and became champions. In college, she discovered her love for acting and studied as a Theatre Major at Florida Atlantic University. Simultaneously, she continued to dance as she worked as a professional dancer for the Miami Heat and the Miami Dolphins. 

In 2017, Brianna decided it was time to retire the pom-poms and head out to Atlanta to officially start her acting career. Shortly after she booked her first role as “Tara” on FX’s Emmy awarded show “Atlanta” and in 2018 appeared alongside Tatyana Ali in the Hallmark movie “Christmas Everlasting.”  Brianna in 2018 has written, produced, and starred in her first lead role in the short film “JADE” Directed and Executive produced by  Kevin Jackson. Jade went on to win “Best Action Film” and was nominated for “Best Short Film” at the Georgia Film Festival. 

At the top of 2019, Brianna decided to dabble in another art form and began to work in music and has released two singles “Easy to Love” and “Up with You” on all music platforms. In the same year, she was cast as “Rose” in BET’s “American Soul” to play as the love interest to Wayne Brady’s character. She closed out the year by landing a co-star role on Youtube Red’s “Step-up Highwater" (2019).  

2020 was very eventful for Brianna as she founded Booking with  Bri, a self-taping/training studio for actors located in Atlanta, Georgia. She was cast as “Charlotte” In the Netflix Series  “Black Lightning” and starred in her first Supporting Lead role for the television movie “Christmas Dilemma” alongside BJ Britt and Brittany S. Hall. Immediately after, she was cast as “Maya” in Netflix Series “The Walking Dead” and starred in the short film “Hit the Road” that was awarded at the “Black Women  Film Festival.” Her film “JADE” was also picked up by production and is set to film in 2021 where she will continue to write and star in the project. 

Brianna resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she continues her career in Film and Television and coaches new and experienced actors. She is represented by People Store and First Track Ent.  Management.
